Having obtained a BA (hons) from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1991, Hilary worked in London for the next 9 years; working her way up to the position of Associate Director in a Headhunting and Recruitment business by her mid-twenties. This role was reliant on her writing and marketing skills and gave her a good grounding in business and relationship management.
In 2000, she gave all this up and moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, where she was a Partner in a software company and Marketing Director of another. Since July 2006, Hilary has specialised in PR working as PR Manager for a Malta-based international company, where she manages global media relations, social-media marketing and anything else PR-related.
